I come to you. Your vehicle stays where it is – home, work, the driveway. No time off, no waiting room, no second trip to collect it. If the vehicle is unregistered, driving it to a workshop is the exact problem you are trying to solve.
No conflict of interest. I make my money from inspections. I do not do repairs. A workshop that fails your vehicle is also the business quoting you for the repair – that is a conflict of interest, and it exists whether the workshop is honest about it or not. Plenty of them are. You decide who you would rather have inspecting your vehicle.
I want your vehicle to pass first time. A re-inspection is $50 – often less than it costs me to drive back out to you. I am not chasing re-inspection fees, I am chasing a vehicle that passes. That is why I give away a free roadworthy checklist, so you can sort the small things out before I arrive.
I care about fairness. Same price for everyone – cars, motorcycles and trailers, right across my service area. No discounts, no card surcharges, no special deals. The published price is the price. That is also why re-inspections are not built into it: someone with a well looked after vehicle would end up paying for someone whose vehicle is not, and that is not fair.

LK1 modification plate – $250 booked online, $260 booked over the phone.
Required when the seating capacity of a vehicle has been changed – seats removed from a van, seats added, or a campervan conversion.
The $250 covers the mod plate only. A roadworthy is not included. If you need a roadworthy as well, add it to the same booking for $110 and I do both in the one visit.

What is the difference between flexible and priority?
Flexible ($110) means I arrive sometime between 8am and 4.30pm – I pick the time. Priority ($140) means you pick a two hour window and I arrive inside it. Same inspection, same certificate.
Is the price different in my suburb?
No. Same price right across my service area.
What happens if my vehicle fails?
You get a list of what needs fixing. Once it is repaired, book a re-inspection within two weeks – $50 flexible or $80 priority. More detail: what happens if your vehicle fails a roadworthy.
Do I need to be there?
No. Unattended inspections are fine on any option. Just leave the key.
Is it cheaper to book online?
Yes. Every service is $10 less booked online than over the phone.
