Pre-Purchase Inspections

A Pre-Purchase Inspection is a comprehensive report of the condition of a vehicle. It is peace of mind for you as the buyer and can be a great negotiating tool with the seller should faults be found.

What gets checked in a pre-purchase inspection?

Please check one of our sample inspection reports below 

We always include a vehicle history check.

We include a diagnostic scan where possible (usually cars after 2003, not for motorcycles).

We always add lots of photos and a video of the start of the vehicle.

Our inspection reports are very detailed. Our car inspection report has way over 100 questions covered.

  • Test drive. We do a 5 km test drive on which we follow the road rules. 

  • We have a brief look at the service book, but we do not call any mechanics who did the services.

  • We do not do compression checks.

  • We do not inspect modifications, retrofits, lpg systems or external additions things like tents or awnings.

  • We do not inspect parts or areas that are not accessible without the use of tools. For example timing belts or brake drums. We do not remove parts, or covers to look behind.

Do I get a report?

  • You have the choice of a detailed inspection report with photos and videos emailed to you.                             
  • Or a simple verbal report only. The examiner will call you after the inspection and tell you his opinion. This does not include any photos or videos.

Do you give a warranty?

  • NO, we do NOT give any warranty or take any liability. And we don’t know any other company who does that.

    Other companies are hiding themself behind long and complicated terms and conditions. We don’t do that.

    Everything said in a pre-purchase report is just the opinion of the examiner.

  • YES, we do them. We have a great passion for motorcyles.
